The iDiscovery On-Line Team

Jim is the Assistant Director for iDiscovery at the Discovery Center, Miami University. He has 34 years of teaching experience in Cincinnati Public Schools, the University of Cincinnati, and St. Ursula Academy in Cincinnati. He retired from Cincinnati Public in 1998 where he taught mathematics and science, mentored new teachers, wrote science and health curricula, and chaired the Science Curricculum Council. He has been with iDiscovery since its inception in 2001 when he shepherded the project through its pilot year.

Pat is the iDiscovery Project Coordinator at Miami University.  She has 20 years of science teaching experience, primarily in the Cincinnati Public Schools.  She mentored and evaluated teacher colleagues as a CPS lead teacher.  She is also a formally trained and experienced seminar leader, and has led online seminars for iDiscovery since 2002. She has served as a science mentor for the University of Cincinnati’s CITE program, and has been an adjunct instructor at U.C., Xavier and Miami Universities where she has developed and taught graduate level courses for science teachers. Pat received her Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and a Masters of Arts in Science Education from Miami University, and completed advanced and graduate work at Miami University, Xavier University, and the University of Cincinnati.
