Jean Richardson, M.Ed.

Jean is the Assistant Director for iDiscovery Program and Curriculum Development. She has 34 years of math and science teaching experience, primarily in the Mayfield City School District in Cuyahoga County. Her leadership roles included District Math Specialist and Math Program Designer, Professional Development Program Designer and Facilitator, District-level Leadership Team Member; K-12 Math Articulation Team Member; and Resident Educator Mentor and RESA Coordinator. She served as the PD facilitator for monthly PLC meetings for grade level mathematics teams K-8 including special education teachers and gifted education teachers, based on Marzano’s Content Mapping and Development of Common Formative Assessments Aligned with CCSS-M. She has been designated an ODE Master Teacher. Jean received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Miami University, a Masters of Education from John Carroll University, Gifted Certification from Kent State University, and completed advanced and graduate work at both John Carroll University and Miami University.

Jan Taylor, M.A.

Jan is the Research Consultant for iDiscovery beginning June 2014. She has 35 years of elementary education experience with grades K through 8, having taught in Mount Vernon City Schools for 27 years and served eight years as Primary Consultant for the Knox County ESC. She received the Jennings Scholar Award, Teacher of the Year Award and served as Lead Teacher at Pleasant Street Elementary. Jan opened her classroom to many student teachers and field placement teachers to share her love for teaching. She frequently was asked to speak to education majors at Mount Vernon Nazarene University on classroom management. Jan earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education at Olivet Nazarene University and completed a Masters of Arts Degree in Curriculum Development at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Jan has worked with iDiscovery since 2009.
